Stark & Watson welcomes you to the one-day online workshop “The Art of Clinical Reasoning in Speech and Language Therapy,” which will take place on November 28, 2026.

The purpose of the workshop is to explore one of the essential challenges faced by speech and language therapists: connecting individual pieces of information, formulating clinical hypotheses, identifying the child’s actual needs, and determining which therapeutic goals should take priority.

The workshop focuses on the process of clinical reasoning and on the transition from assessment findings to targeted therapeutic decision-making.

Through examples, clinical questions, and practical exercises, participants will have the opportunity to develop a clearer and more evidence-informed approach to clinical cases in speech and language therapy.

Particular emphasis will be placed not only on what the therapist chooses to work on, but primarily on why a particular goal is selected, which data support that decision, and when the therapist needs to reconsider and revise the treatment plan.
